Here are some answers to questions commonly asked of Jen’s Spic N Span.

  1.                        Why should I chose Jen’s Spic N Span?
We are local, small cleaning business based out of Elkhorn, WI.  We pride ourselves on ensuring our clients are satisfied with the work done.  If not satisfied, we work to correct any issues immediately.  All employees of Jen’s Spic N Span LLC undergo a thorough background check and drug screening and are covered under the liability insurance of the company.  We all work together as a team and strive to ma
ke your experience with us a good one.

2.                   What to expect for the first cleaning?
The initial clean tends to be more of a deep clean by nature and tends to take a little more time than future cleaning appointments, as the cleaners get used to the layout of your home and the customized cleaning plan.

3.                What do you mean by customized cleaning plan?
We want to make sure you are satisfied with the cleaning done on your home and are paying for what you want done.  A document listing tasks done in a typical clean can be found on our CONTACT page, but anything can be added or subtracted to fit your needs.

4.                What should I do before the cleaning crew arrives?
It helps out our cleaning staff if you prepare your home by picking up clutter, garbage, toys, etc.  This makes it so that the cleaning staff can focus their time on the actual cleaning of the home rather than tidying.

5.              Do I need to be home for every cleaning service?
No. Because we work typically 8am-6pm during the week, most of our customers are not home when we arrive.  In a majority of these cases, our insured cleaning staff are provided a key or garage code.

6.            Do I need to provide the cleaning team with supplies or equipment?
No.  We provide all equipment and supplies needed for the cleaning of your home, unless you prefer a specific product or piece of equipment be used.

7.                   What if I need to reschedule?
We understand that life happens and your regular cleaning time might not work sometimes.  We ask that you contact us as soon as you can to make necessary changes. Cancellation fees will be charged if less than 5 business day notice is given. Please reference our client service agreement in our “contact section” for our full cancellation policy.

8. What happens if my usual cleaning date falls on a holiday?
If your regular cleaning date falls on a holiday, we will contact you about two weeks ahead of time to reschedule to a different time.  We take off for major holidays such as: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day.
 
 

9.    Are you ok with pets being in the home during a cleaning service?
Yes.  We are a pet-friendly company, but if your pet is known to be aggressive in anyway, we recommend that you leave him/her outside or in a gated area for the safety of the cleaning staff.

10.          How do I pay?
Payments are due at time of service.  We accept: 
Cash, check, credit card, Venmo, Zelle, or have capability to send an email invoice for payment online.

11.         How much do your services cost?

12.              How often do you come to clean if we get on your regular schedule?

We will come on a schedule that fits your needs and your budget.  We offer weekly, biweekly, monthly or as needed cleanings.  Our most popular frequency is biweekly.

13.              How soon can I take cleaning off my to-do list?
The first step is contacting us for your free walkthrough and estimate.  From there, we work to get you on our regular schedule within 2 weeks of the initial walkthrough. Once you are on the regular schedule, you can cross cleaning off the to-do list for good.  Leave the cleaning to us; we’re happy to help.
